One of the most beautiful and one of the largest castles in Germany it is situated above the city of Heidelberg, facing the Hankar River and the old and new town. We are attracted by the amazing landscapes which remind us of the “hey days” days when counts, princes, electors and kings ruled the region and flourished in the majesty and splendor of those times. Yet we know that the castle had its peaks and valleys, ruins and restorations, joys and disappointments.

Size doesn’t count and the proof is that the town attracts millions of tourists who come for so many reasons! Rüdesheim is a winemaking town in the Rhine Gorge, and is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site in this area. The town itself is charming and colorful with small streets meandering between half-timber houses with many decorated with wooden carvings, metal signs and a lot of greenery surrounding the area.
