Winton

Home to one of the extant open air picture theaters in Australia, this town also hosts several museums and an annual Outback Festival.

Winton is a small town in Central West Queensland, Australia. It is best known as the place where Banjo Paterson wrote "Waltzing Matilda" in 1885. The Waltzing Matilda Centre opened in 1998 and is the first museum dedicated to a song.
