  • Salzburg

    Salzburg is the fourth largest city in Austria and is considered a “must visit” city. The fact that it is not “the biggest” city is not important in this case - size doesn’t count! It is no wonder that UNESCO recognized the Alstadt (Old Town) as a World Heritage Site. Salzburg is situated on the banks of the Salzach river which is almost 300 km long. This precious town offers a wide range of tours with exciting experiences for the visitor.

  • Burg Kaprun 02

    Kaprun is an important tourist destination known as "Zell am See-Kaprun" with the neighbouring Zell am See and well known for the glacier Kitzsteinhorn. It is located in the historic Pinzgau region on the northern slopes of the Alpine Glockner Group with Mt. Grobes Wiesbachhorn, part of the Hohe Tauern range. At the foot of the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier, Kaprun is a year round sports centre. The reservoir area has become a tourist attraction, giving spectacular views over the towns of Kaprun and Zell am See. The visitors centre gives guided tours of the area. Tauern Spa World and is the second largest spa complex in Austria.

  • Zeller See

    Zell am See provides winter skiing on the Schmittenhohe Mountain. The ski pass covers the whole area including transport to and from the glacier which is open most of the year snow dependent. Even when the snow on the mountain isn't great, the snow on the glacier is fantastic most of the year round. Within St. Hippolyte's Church are the oldest building remnants of the Pinzgau region. The church is built in a Romanesque style. The tower is the main focus of the Zell am See skyline, reaches 36 metres, with limestone walls. The Grand Hotel Zell am See is situated in a unique position on a private peninsula at the shore of Lake Zell, surrounded by water with a panoramic view of the mountains.

    Bad Gastein is a spa town whose local Heilstollen thermal spring water earned the town its early fame. Beside its water treatments, the town is popular for winter sports. The town also hosts a women's tennis tournament annually, attracting top players. Most of the Gastein Valley contains moderate to good skiing and snowboarding, with plenty of chairlifts and gondolas. Many establishments on the slopes offer warmth, food and strong drinks. Bad Gastein has vibrant pagan traditions that have been slightly assimilated into Roman Catholic tradition, including the Krampus, a horned and demonic character, playfully re-enacted by bands of male revellers during December.

    St. Johann im Pongau is a small town in the state of Salzburg in Austria. The town is located in the Salzach Valley of the Eastern Alps, between the Salzburg Slate Alps in the north, the Radstadt Tauern (part of the Niedere Tauern range) in the southeast and the Ankogel Group (Hohe Tauern) in the southwest. The town lies in the centre of the Salzburg Pongau region. Due to its picturesque setting, the area largely depends on tourism, Alpine skiing in winter and hiking in the summer months. A dramatic gorge called Liechtensteinklamm lies south of the town. This gorge is about 4 kilometres long and can be explored via walkways first built by Prince Johann II of Liechtenstein in 1875.

    Bad Hofgastein is an exclusive ski and wellness resort. It is also part of Ski Amade, a network of 28 ski areas and towns that combined, make up the largest ski area in Europe. Bad Hofgastein also offers one of Europe's most exclusive and extensive thermal spas, the Alpentherme. The town also boasts a large number of luxury hotels. The downtown center of Bad Hofgastein boasts a picturesque pedestrian zone filled with hotels, luxury boutiques, restaurants, cafes and gluhwein stands. The town’s main square is the focal point of the town, often the site of live music bands. Bad Hofgastein is generally more frequented by Austrians, as well as a large number of Russian and Italian visitors.
