  • innsbruck

The city of Innsbruck, the capital of the Tyrolean region, is nestled in the valley of the INN river surrounded by mountains that rise around it to an altitude between 2000-3000 meters. The height gap between the city and the peaks creates a dramatic and breathtaking view that can be seen from all corners of the city. The SILL River merges with the INN River in the center of the city and then meets up with the Danube.

  • Liebfrauenkirche Kitzbühel

Kitzbühel is a small medieval town in Tyrol, Austria. The town is situated in the Kitzbühel Alps about 100 kilometres east of the state capital of Innsbruck. It is a ski resort of international renown. Kitzbuhel is home to many important churches, museums, and old buildings. Kitzbühel is one of Austria's best-known and fanciest winter sports. The Hahnenkamm is home of the annual World Cup ski races, including the circuit's most important event, the downhill race on the famous Streif slope. This downhill is counted as one of the toughest downhill competitions in the World Cup. Each summer Kitzbühel also hosts an ATP tennis tournament on clay, the Austrian Open.

  • St Anton, Austria

St. Anton am Arlberg lies in the Tyrolean Alps. It is a popular summer resort among trekkers and mountaineers. Skiing has a long history in Sankt Anton: in the 1930s, instructors from the area emigrated to the US, to help popularise the sport. St. Anton is frequently listed as one of the world's top skiing resorts. The groomed runs in the region cater to all ski levels. There are also 200 km of deep snow runs in the area. Other activities in St. Anton include many sightseeing spots around the village, cycle tracks and a sports centre with pools, whirlpools and a water slide. During the summer months, many tourists come to hike the mountain and one can even go cross-country on a Segway PT.

  • Seefeld village

Seefeld in Tirol is an old farming village, now a major tourist resort. The village is located on an historic road that has been important since the Middle Ages. It is a well known winter sports centre and amongst the most popular tourist resorts in Austria. Seefeld is one of the most popular Tyrolean tourist destinations especially for skiing in winter, but also for walking holidays in the summer, popular because of its plateau location; there are many walks which don't depend on climbing mountains. However, the walks into the mountains are beautiful too. Seefeld is also home to several important historical sites, as well as stunning lakes and streams, and excellent sports facilities.

  • Zell am Ziller

Zell am Ziller is a municipality in the Schwaz district in the Austrian state of Tyrol. The name derives from the river Ziller. The Zillertal Arena was formed in 2000 from a merger of the ski areas of Zell, Gerlos and Königsleiten and is the largest ski area in the Ziller valley. It is accessed by the Rosenalmbahn and, since the 2010/11 season, by the Karspitzbahn, whose valley station is located in the parish of Zell. Several ski bus companies operate in Zell am Ziller during the skiing season. When there is sufficient snow, cross-country skiing trails are cut at Ziller (both classic and, in some cases, skating).
