Austria Tyrol Seefeld

Seefeld in Tirol is an old farming village, now a major tourist resort. The village is located on an historic road that has been important since the Middle Ages. It is a well known winter sports centre and amongst the most popular tourist resorts in Austria. Seefeld is one of the most popular Tyrolean tourist destinations especially for skiing in winter, but also for walking holidays in the summer, popular because of its plateau location; there are many walks which don't depend on climbing mountains. However, the walks into the mountains are beautiful too. Seefeld is also home to several important historical sites, as well as stunning lakes and streams, and excellent sports facilities.
