Visitors are attracted to this tiny Danish town because of its rich Viking heritage, as well as its interesting historic sites.
Jelling is a village in Southern Denmark. The town is mainly famous for the Jelling stones - massive carved runestones from the 10th century that are a national monument. Jelling is also the site of a large stone ship and two large burial mounds - all are an UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Jelling Music Festival is held annually and is currently Denmark's third largest festival.
