Just outside of Copenhagen lies this busy fishing port, which is one of the oldest medieval cities in the country.
Køge is a seaport town on the coast of Køge bay.
The historical architecture of the town centre is one of the major attractions of Køge with the oldest house built in 1527. Køge Torv, the market square is the best-preserved medieval town square in Denmark. There are fair days on the square Wednesday and Saturday.
Køge Museum and KØS - museum of art in public spaces are two coltural landmarks in town.
