This beautiful village holds onto an admirable spiritual and religious heritage dating from the Middle Ages.
Cluny is a commune in the region of Bourgogne in eastern France. The town grew up around the Benedictine Cluny Abbey, founded by Duke William I of Aquitaine in 910. The river Grosne flows northward through the commune and crosses the town.
