Gordes is a commune in the Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur region in southeastern France. Located in the middle of the village, the castle, which was partially rebuilt in Renaissance style in 1525, is a major tourist attraction. In the immediate vicinity of Gordes is the Romanesque Senanque Abbey (a Cistercian abbey) and the "village of bories".

One of the most beautiful and charming villages in Provence, Gordes is located on a giant rock dominating the valley below.

Thank you for your email, our trip was amazing. I found the whole experience of using RoutePerfect brilliant.
