    Cortina d'Ampezzo is a town and commune in the southern (Dolomitic) Alps located in Veneto, a region in Northern Italy. Located in the heart of the Dolomites in an alpine valley, it is a popular winter sport resort known for its ski-ranges, scenery, accommodations, shops and apres-ski scene. It hosted the 1956 Winter Olympics as well as various world cup events and motion pictures. It is also known for its jet set and European aristocracy crowd.

    Brixen is a town in South Tyrol in northern Italy, located about 40 km north of Bolzano. First mentioned in 901, Brixen is the third largest city and oldest town in the province, and the artistic and cultural capital of the valley. It is located at the confluence of the Eisack and Rienz rivers. Brixen is especially known as a major skiing resort (the Plose). Other activities include hydroelectric power, orchards, and vineyards.

    Bruneck is the largest town in the Puster Valley in the Italian province of South Tyrol. It lies at the confluence of the Ahr with the Rienz. Bruneck is characterized by the manufacturing and service industries. Important tourist centers are found all around Bruneck. Especially worthy of mention is the ski resort on Kronplatz mountain. All year round many famous markets and festivals take place here, for example, the popular Stegener Market at the end of October, the largest market in Tyrol.

    Canazei is a commune in northern Italy. Canazei is the base station for many excursions and rock climbs to the Sella, Marmolada and Sassolungo Groups. Canazei is also a traditional ski resort on the Sella Ronda circuit with 42 kilometres (26 mi) of ski slopes.

    Urtijei is a town of 4,637 inhabitants in South Tyrol in northern Italy. It's located at the Val Gardena within the Dolomites, a mountain chain that is part of the Alps. Currently, the town's economy is mostly based on winter skiing tourism, summer hiking tourism, and woodcarving.
