Cagliari is an Italian municipality and the capital of the island of Sardinia. Cagliari's Sardinian name Casteddu literally means castle. Cagliari is a regional cultural, educational, political and artistic center, known for its diverse Art Nouveau architecture and several monuments. Tourism is one of the major industries of the city, although historical venues such as its monumental Middle Ages and Early modern period defense system, its Carthaginian, Roman and Byzantine ruins are less highlighted compared to the recreational beaches and coastline.

Alghero, is a town of about 44,000 inhabitants in Italy. It lies in the province of Sassari in northwestern Sardinia, next to the Mediterranean Sea. The many historical dominances occurred in Alghero have created a rich variety of monuments, buildings and sights. Back from the Neolithic period from which many settlements remain, up to nowadays. in the last decades Alghero has become a touristic main point not only because of its coast and natural beauties but also because of a fairly well preserved patrimony.

Santa Teresa Gallura is a town on the northern tip of Sardinia, on the Strait of Bonifacio. It has a permanent population of about 5,000, increasing to 10,000 - 15,000 with summer tourism. The main town square has various tourist shops and restaurants, many of these close in the off-season. Immediately to the north of the town is Rena Bianca, Santa Teresa's beach. In the summer this beach is almost always crowded, and the water is generally warm.

Sassari is an Italian city and the second-largest of Sardinia in terms of population with over 130,000 inhabitants, It contains a considerable collection of art. As Sardinia's second most populated city, and the fifth largest municipality in Italy, it has a considerable amount of cultural, touristic, commercial and political importance in the island. The city's economy mainly relies on tourism and services.

Bosa is a town and commune in the province of Oristano, part of the Sardinia region. The town has maintained a population of around 8,000 people for a significant amount of time, but has an urban character that has differentiated it from other locations in Sardinia. Agriculture and fishing play an important part in the city economy, thanks to the river valley near the coast surrounded by hills and highland plateaus.

Cala Gonone is an Italian seaside town in the Sardinia region. Due to its natural environment (the territory is included in the Gennargentu National Park[2]) and to the quality of its waters, Cala Gonone is a popular tourist venue.

Oristano is a town and commune in the island of Sardinia, Italy. The economy of Oristano is mainly based on fishing, agriculture, tourism and small industries.

Villasimius is a comune (municipality) in the Province of South Sardinia in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 35 kilometres (22 mi) east of Cagliari. Most important beaches of the area are Cala Burroni, Cala Caterina, Campus, Piscadeddus, Porto Giunco, Porto Sa Ruxi, Punta Molentis, Simius, Spiaggia del Riso, Timi Ama.

Olbia is a town and commune in northeastern Sardinia. Olbia (the name is of Greek origin) is very ancient and was possibly founded by the Punics, according to the archaeological findings. It contains ruins from nuragic to the Roman Era, when it was an important port.

Orosei in the Province of Nuoro in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 140 kilometres (87 mi) northeast of Cagliari and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) east of Nuoro. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 6,148 and an area of 90.4 square kilometres (34.9 sq mi). The municipality of Orosei contains the frazioni (subdivisions) Sos Alinos and Cala Liberotto. Orosei borders the following municipalities: Dorgali, Galtellì, Onifai, Siniscola.

Palau is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Sassari in the Italian region Sardinia, about 220 kilometres (140 mi) north of Cagliari and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) northwest of Olbia. It was a frazione of the comune of Tempio Pausania until 1959. It is located on Punta Sardegna, and was founded in 1875 by local shepherds. The Capa D'Orso or "Cape of the Bear" formation is nearby, at the very northwest tip of Sardinia.[2] The unique formation is a result of honeycomb weathering, a form of salt weathering.

Castelsardo is a town and comune in Sardinia, Italy, located in the northwest of the island within the Province of Sassari, at the east end of the Gulf of Asinara. Archaeological excavations have showed the human presence in the area of Castelsardo since pre-Nuragic and Nuragic times, as well as during the Roman domination in Sardinia.
