There are only 2 listed religious buildings, the former Benedictine All Saints Abbey and the Church of St. John.

Bad Gastein has vibrant pagan traditions that have been slightly assimilated into Roman Catholic tradition, including the Krampus, a horned and demonic character, playfully re-enacted by bands of male revellers during December.

Situated on the river Trave, it was for several centuries the "capital" of the Hanseatic League. Because of its extensive Brick Gothic architecture, it is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Much of the old town has kept a medieval appearance with old buildings and narrow streets. At one time the town could only be entered via any of four town gates, of which today two remain. The old town centre is dominated by seven church steeples. The oldest are the Lübecker Dom (the city's cathedral) and the Marienkirche (Saint Mary's), both from the 13th and 14th centuries.Other sights include: the Lübecker Rathaus, Saint Catherine Church, Thomas Mann's house, Church of St. Peter, and many more.

Delft is known for its historic town centre, for 17C Delft Blue pottery, for the Delft University of Technology, for the painter Vermeer and the scientist Antony van Leeuwenhoek, and for the Royal House of Orange-Nassau. Several famous painters lived and worked in Delft. They all were members of the Delft School. East of Delft is a vast nature and recreation area called the "Delftse Hout" ("Delft Wood"). Apart from a forest, through which bike, horseride and footpaths are leading, it also has a vast lake (suitable for swimming and windsurfing), beaches, a restaurant, gardens, campground and other facilities. Paris is also known for its fashion, particularly the twice-yearly Paris Fashion Week, and for its haute cuisine, and three-star restaurants.
