A beautiful beach town, De Panne has a long, interesting history and a unique rich culture.

De Panne is a town and a municipality located on the North Sea coast of the Belgian province of West Flanders. There it borders France, which implies that it is the westernmost location of Belgium. De Panne is home to Plopsaland, a themepark aimed at young children and located at the former Meli-Park. De Panne was also the place where the first land yachts intended for sport were built and used by the Dumont brothers in 1898. The Blegian Militaty Cemetery is located at Kerkstraat 69 in De Panne, 1 km south of the church. Besides Belgian soldiers who died in WWI there are also British soldiers who died in WWII. 3744 soldiers have been buried here.

A town steeped in Belgian history, Sint-Truden boasts several interesting old buildings, including the famous Sint-Agnes Begijnhof.

Sint-Truiden’s historical center includes the town hall, with a 17C tower classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The oldest parts of the building date from the 13C. The 15C Church of Our Lady stands just beside the town hall. The beguinage of Sint-Agnes, with its 13C church, was also classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. An 11C Romanesque tower and crypt are all that remain of the old abbey of St Trudo. Several other Romanesque buildings can also be visited in town. On the abbey square stands the statue of St Trudo which also functions as a sundial. Sint-Truiden offers several good examples of Baroque architecture, including the gable of the town hall.

Of particular interest is the Museum of the Playing Card. This is located in an old factory building downtown and houses a beautifully restored steam engine. The beguinage was recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 1998.

The Capa D'Orso or "Cape of the Bear" formation is nearby, at the very northwest tip of Sardinia.[2] The unique formation is a result of honeycomb weathering, a form of salt weathering.

Sittwe is located on an estuarial island created at the confluence of the Kaladan, Mayu, and Lay Mro rivers emptying into the Bay of Bengal. The hundred year old Shwezedi Monastery was the monastery of U Ottama, who was the first political monk in Myanmar. Pyay-Lone-Chan-Thar Pharagri, the focal point of Sittwe's Buddhist environment, beside Shwezedi Monastery. Ahkyaib-daw, is one of the most sacred Buddhist pagodas, believed to have built in the days of Emperor Asoka (r. 269-232 BCE).

Naypyidaw is the capital city of Myanmar (formerly known as Burma). The capital's official name was announced on 27 March 2006, Myanmar's Armed Forces Day. It first became the capital of Myanmar in 2006, after the government decided to move the capital from Yangon with minimal explanation. Much of this planned city was completed in 2012. The 24th and 25th ASEAN Summit as well as the Ninth East Asia Summit were held in Naypyidaw. It was also one of the host cities for the 2013 Southeast Asian Games. The city is notable for its unusual combination of size and low population density.

Pai is a small town in northern Thailand's Mae Hong Son Province, near the Myanmar border, about 146km north-west of Chiang Mai on the northern route to Mae Hong Son. It lies on the Pai River. Today, Pai primarily thrives on tourism. Well-known among backpackers for its relaxed atmosphere, the town is full of cheap guesthouses, souvenir shops, and restaurants. In the environs of the town are spas and elephant camps. Further outside of town, there are several waterfalls and a number of natural hot springs. As Pai lies at the foot of the mountains, many tourists use it as a base for trekking and visiting hill tribes. Other attractions include the market and local cultures.

It is part of the wider Auckland Region, which includes the rural areas and towns north and south of the urban area, plus the islands of the Hauraki Gulf, resulting in a total population of 1,570,500 that is governed by the Auckland Council. Auckland also has the largest Polynesian population of any city in the world. In Maori, Auckland's name is Tamaki Makaurau and the adaptation of Auckland, to suit Maori phonetic rules, is Akarana.
