Antwerp is the second most populous city in Belgium. In the 16C, Antwerp was noted for the wealth of its citizens ("Antwerpia nummis"); the houses of these wealthy merchants and manufacturers have been preserved throughout the city. Antwerp Zoo was founded in 1843, and is home to more than 6,000 animals (about 769 species). One of the oldest zoos in the world, it is renowned for its high level of research and conservation. Antwerp had an artistic reputation in the 17C, based on its school of painting, which included Rubens, Van Dyck, Jordaens, the two Teniers and many others. Antwerp is home to many interesting sites and museums.

A beautiful beach town, De Panne has a long, interesting history and a unique rich culture.

De Panne is a town and a municipality located on the North Sea coast of the Belgian province of West Flanders. There it borders France, which implies that it is the westernmost location of Belgium. De Panne is home to Plopsaland, a themepark aimed at young children and located at the former Meli-Park. De Panne was also the place where the first land yachts intended for sport were built and used by the Dumont brothers in 1898. The Blegian Militaty Cemetery is located at Kerkstraat 69 in De Panne, 1 km south of the church. Besides Belgian soldiers who died in WWI there are also British soldiers who died in WWII. 3744 soldiers have been buried here.

Echternach is a commune with city status in the canton of Echternach in eastern Luxembourg, and is the oldest in Luxembourg. The river Sauer that flows past the town now forms the border between Luxembourg and Germany. The picturesque town, still surrounded by its medieval walls with towers, was badly damaged in World War II but was subsequently thoroughly restored. The Abbey's Basilica of St Willibrord, now surrounded by the eighteenth-century abbey (today a high school) and is located in the heart of the town's historical centre. The other is the parish church of St Peter and Paul. The nearby Prehistory Museum traces mankind's history over the past one million years.

Attractions in Fussen: The High Castle houses a branch gallery of the Bavarian State Collections of Paintings, which focuses on late Gothic and Renaissance works of art. The oldest fresco in Germany can be found in the crypt of St Mang's Basilica, It dates back to about the year 980. St Mang's Feast Day (6 September) is commemorated with a Holy Mass followed by a procession by torchlight through the old part of the city. During the week of the Saint's Feast a special 'Magnus Wine' is sold, with only 500 bottles produced.

Zell am See provides winter skiing on the Schmittenhohe Mountain. The ski pass covers the whole area including transport to and from the glacier which is open most of the year snow dependent. Even when the snow on the mountain isn't great, the snow on the glacier is fantastic most of the year round. Within St. Hippolyte's Church are the oldest building remnants of the Pinzgau region. The church is built in a Romanesque style. The tower is the main focus of the Zell am See skyline, reaches 36 metres, with limestone walls. The Grand Hotel Zell am See is situated in a unique position on a private peninsula at the shore of Lake Zell, surrounded by water with a panoramic view of the mountains.
