Uniquely spread over seven hills, each topped with a church, much of this beautiful town is an officially UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Bamberg is a town in Bavaria, Germany. Its historic city center is a listed UNESCO world heritage site, primarily because of its authentic medieval appearance. The Bamberg cathedral is a late Romanesque building with four grand towers. It was founded in 1004. It was later partially destroyed by fire in 1081.
