A beautiful beach town, De Panne has a long, interesting history and a unique rich culture.

De Panne is a town and a municipality located on the North Sea coast of the Belgian province of West Flanders. There it borders France, which implies that it is the westernmost location of Belgium. De Panne is home to Plopsaland, a themepark aimed at young children and located at the former Meli-Park. De Panne was also the place where the first land yachts intended for sport were built and used by the Dumont brothers in 1898. The Blegian Militaty Cemetery is located at Kerkstraat 69 in De Panne, 1 km south of the church. Besides Belgian soldiers who died in WWI there are also British soldiers who died in WWII. 3744 soldiers have been buried here.

Plymouth is a city on the south coast of Devon, England. It is situated between the mouths of the rivers Plym and Tamar. The Royal Citadel was built in 1666 on the east end of Plymouth Hoe. Smeaton's Tower, built in 1759 as a lighthouse, the top two thirds rebuilt on the Hoe in 1877. It has views over the Plymouth Sound and the city. The early port settlement of Plymouth, called "Sutton" has 100 listed buildings and the largest concentration of cobbled streets in Britain. Also on Sutton Pool is the National Marine Aquarium which displays 400 marine species and includes Britain's deepest aquarium tank. A mile upstream is the Saltram estate, which has a Jacobean and Georgian mansion.

The five-mile promenade from the Marina to Mumbles offers views across Swansea Bay, and the seaside village of Mumbles has a Victorian pier, small, independent shops and boutiques, restaurants and cafes. Other local attractions include the Clyne Gardens, Singleton Park, Mission Gallery and Plantasia.
