Stockholm is the cultural, political and economic centre of Sweden. The city houses some 100 museums and the most renowned is the National museum. Another prized museum is the Vasa Museum. Stockholm region is home to three of Sweden's World Heritage Sites: Drottningholm Palace, Skogskyrkogården and Birka. Another tourist attraction is Gröna Lund - an amusement park located on the island of Djurgården. As of 2013 Stockholm boasts several Michelin star restaurants, two of which have two stars.

Valletta is the capital city of Malta, colloquially known as Il-Belt (lit. "The City") in Maltese. Valletta contains buildings from the 16th century onwards, built during the rule of the Order of St. John also known as Knights Hospitaller. The city is essentially Baroque in character, with elements of Mannerist, Neo-Classical and Modern architecture in selected areas.
