The City of Lights boasts fascinating architecture, rich culture, and amazing cuisine, making it one of the best destinations in the world.

Paris is the capital and most populous city of France. Centuries of cultural and political development have brought Paris a variety of museums, theaters, monuments and architectural styles. Among Paris' important museums and cultural institutions are the most visited art museum in the world, the Louvre, and the Musee National d'Art Modern, the largest collection of modern and contemporary art in Europe. The central area of the city along the Seine River is classified as a UNESCO Heritage Site, and includes many monuments, including Notre Dame Cathedral (12th century to 13th century); the Sainte-Chapelle (13th century); the Eiffel Tower (1889); and more. Dijon

France, Burgundy region

FoodCultureHistoricNight life2 nightsSun. Oct 25 - Tue. Oct 27

Between Paris and Lyon, Dijon is the perfect place to sample Burgundian cuisine and admire Medieval architecture.

Dijon is a city in eastern France, and is the capital of the Burgundy region. The city has retained varied architectural styles from many of the main periods of the past millennium, including Capetian, Gothic and Renaissance. Many still-inhabited town houses in the city's central district date from the 18th century and earlier. Dijon architecture is distinguished by, among other things, toits bourguignons (Burgundian polychrome roofs) made of tiles glazed in terracotta, green, yellow and black and arranged in geometric patterns. The historical center of the city has been registered since July 4, 2015 as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Full of energy and architectural treasures, Avignon is an excellent base from which to explore Western Provence.

Avignon is a French commune in southeastern France, bordered by the left bank of the Rhֳ´ne river. Of the 94,787 inhabitants of the city, about 12,000 live in the ancient town center surrounded by its medieval ramparts. Often referred to as the "City of Popes" because of the presence of popes and anti popes from 1309 to 1423 during the Catholic schism. This is one of the few French cities to have preserved its ramparts. In addition, its historic center, the palace of the popes, Rocher des Doms, and the bridge of Avignon are well-preserved.
