Today Warsaw is considered an Alpha – global city, a major international tourist destination and a significant cultural, political and economic hub. Its main attractions include the Old Town quarter, the Royal Castle, Market Square, the Barbican, multiple castles and palaces, as well as landmarks of Jewish heritage.

The capital of Poland is also its largest city, functioning as an important political, cultural, and financial center.
