Just outside of town is Tragumna Beach where many people go to swim during the summer. Skibbereen Arts Festival occurs annually; It takes place the end of July and prides itself in showcasing community based projects as well as hosting a varied mix of nationally and internationally acclaimed films, theatre, visual art and music. The town has strong musical traditions with many different music events held each year. A few bars in town also host various musical acts throughout the week.

Killarney is a medium sized town in County Kerry, southwestern Ireland. The town is on the northeastern shore of Lough Leane, which is part of Killarney National Park. Riverfest is an annual summer festival held in Limerick. The 2014 festival was held 2 to 5 May and had a record 80,000 visitors.
