Limoges is known for its medieval and Renaissance enamels (Limoges enamels) on copper, for its 19th-century porcelain (Limoges porcelain) and for its oak barrels which are used for Cognac production. Main sights include : The Crypt of Saint Martial, 10th century, including the tomb of the bishop who evangelized the city. It was discovered in the 1960's while building an underground parking lot (place de la republique). Remains of the Gallo-Roman amphitheater, one of the largest in ancient Gaul. The Gothic Limoges Cathedral (Cathedrale Saint-Etienne de Limoges), begun in 1273 and only finished in 1888. It is noted for a fine loft built in 1534 and for the partly octagonal bell tower.

Strøget, a popular shopping area, hosts many street performers in the late afternoon and evening. Copenhagen is home to the two oldest amusement parks in the world - Dyrehavsbakken and Tivoli Gardens. The city also has many restaurants and bars with nightclub staing open until 5 or 6 in the morning.

Halmstad is a industrial and recreational city at the mouth of the river Nissan, on the Swedish west coast. The city celebrated its 700th anniversary in 2007 and parts of the old town are found in the present day town centre. The oldest remains of that first town are to be found at "Övraby" upstream on Nissan, just south of and quite close to the present day regiment buildings.

Sundsvall is a city and the seat of Sundsvall Municipality in Västernorrland County, Sweden. Each July the town holds a large, commercial music festival in the city called Gatufesten. There are two theatres and various musical venues. There is also a small guitar festival and a larger heavy metal festival every autumn called Nordfest. Sundsvall is also home to the unique festival Musikschlaget which is an alternative song contest for groups around Sweden with disabilities.

Umeå is a town in northern Sweden and the capital of Västerbotten County. It is the biggest city in Norrland and the twelfth biggest in Sweden Umeå is a centre for cultural activities, with annual film and music festivals. The annual Umeå Jazz Festival is one of the larger Scandinavian festivals for modern jazz. The Opera of northern Sweden, the Norrland Opera, is based in the city. Umeå is located along the Blue Highway, which is an international tourist route from Mo i Rana, Norway to Pudozh, Russia via Finland.

Luleå is a city on the coast of northern Sweden. The world’s first indoor mall was built in Luleå and was named Shopping, there are two other malls in Luleå, Strand and Smedjan. The main shopping streets in Luleå are Storgatan and Kungsgatan, a couple of kilometers outside of Luleå there is a shopping center called Storheden. Luleå Hamnfestival (Luleå harbor festival) is a big summer event in the center of Luleå, held in July andis a free event. Musikens makt (The power of music) is a smaller music festival that is each summer in August at Gültzauudden since 2010. This is a free concert.

Rovaniemi is a city andthe administrative capital and commercial centre of Finland's northernmost province, Lapland. Because of the unspoiled nature and numerous recreational opportunities, tourism is an important industry in Rovaniemi. The city has a number of hotels and restaurants located both in the center and on the outskirts of the town. Rovaniemi's most prominent landmarks include the Jätkänkynttilä bridge, the Arktikum House which, the Rovaniemi Town Hall and Lappia House. Rovaniemi is considered the official home town of Santa Claus and is home to the Santa Claus Village at the Arctic Circle and Santa Park, which is located at the north part of town.
