Gangneung

Gangneung is a city in Gangwon-do, on the east coast of South Korea. Gangneung is the economic center of the Yeongdong region of Gangwon Province. Gangneung has many tourist attractions, such as Jeongdongjin, a very popular area for watching the sun rise, and Gyeongpo Beach. There are a number of historical remains and museums in Gangneung. The most prominent being the Ojukheon Museum, which includes one of the oldest wooden buildings in Korea. Several shrines and old residential buildings deliver insight into the lives of local Koreans dignitaries. Next to the Ojukheon Museum there is the Gangneung Municipal Museum which shows folklore and antique pieces from the history of the city.

A city that has it all, Gangneung is known for its beautiful beaches and coastal nature, modern museums, and a wealth of historic sites.

Ulsan

Ulsan, officially the Ulsan Metropolitan City, is South Korea's seventh largest metropolis. It is located in the south-east of the country, neighboring Busan to the south and facing Gyeongju to the north. Ulsan is the industrial powerhouse of South Korea, forming the heart of the Ulsan Industrial District. There are 7 tall mountains (Gajisan, Sinbulsan, Ganwolsan, cheonhwangsan, yeongchuksan, Goheonsan, Jaeyaksan) over 1,000m above sea level. Sinbulsan (MT.) Ridge, which changes to a fantastic silver grass field in autumn, is one of the best sights to see in the Yeongnam Alps. Eoksae festival is held every early October in Ganwoljae which is best known for its colony of silver grass.

Known for its industrial architecture, this large Korean city boasts several interesting museums, parks, and beaches.

Generally Daegu is known as a conservative city. As well as being the largest inland city in the country beside Seoul it has become one of the major metropolitan areas in the nation. Traditionally, Buddhism has been strong; today there are still many temples. Confucianism is also popular in Daegu, with a large academy based in the city. Neon cross-topped spires of Christian churches can also be seen in the city. The most well-known sight of the city is the stone Buddha called Gatbawi on the top of Gwanbong, Palgongsan. It is famous for its stone gat (Korean traditional hat). People from all over the country visit the place, because they believe that the Buddha will grant one's single desire.

A thriving metropolitan area, Daegu is full of energy, bustling streets, ancient temples, historic buildings, and much more.

Tongyeong is a coastal city in South Gyeongsang Province, South Korea. It was formerly known as Chungmu, after the posthumous name of Admiral Yi Sun-sin. The name Tongyeong means "command post" and is itself associated with Admiral Yi, as it refers to his principal base that was located on nearby Hansan Island. There are several famous food in Tongyeong. Chungmu gimbab ko and Ggulbbang. Tongyeong is situated in the southern tip of Goseong peninsula and its three sides are surrounded by the sea. It consists of 41 inhabited and 110 uninhabited islands. Tongyeong Port, the east gate of Hallyeo Marine National Park, is referred to as the most beautiful port in South Korea.

Home to several excellent parks, historic sites, and more, Tongyeong is famous for its proximity to many stunning islands.
