The main leisure attraction in the city is the Penang Botanic Gardens which feature many flower species and is the oldest gardens in the city. The Penang Street Art in Armenian Street, created by Lithuanian-artist Ernest Zacharevic, is the main art attraction in the city, with the most popular graffiti. George Town is the main shopping destination in northern Malaysia due to its fast development with many new skyscrapers. While many new landmarks have started to dominate the city, many centuries-old shops are still operating alongside flea markets.

Langkawi, officially known as Langkawi the Jewel of Kedah is an archipelago of 104 islands in the Andaman Sea. By far the largest of the islands is the eponymous Langkawi Island. Langkawi is also an administrative district. Langkawi Island was given a World Geopark status by UNESCO. Three of its main conservation areas in Langkawi Geopark are Machincang Cambrian Geoforest Park, Kilim Karst Geoforest Park and Dayang Bunting Marble Geoforest park (Island of the Pregnant Maiden Lake). Ho Chi Minh City, formerly named and still also referred to as Saigon, is the largest city in Vietnam. It was once known as Prey Nokor, an important Khmer seaport prior to annexation by the Vietnamese in the 17C. Under the name Saigon, it was the capital of the French colony of Cochinchina and later of the independent republic of South Vietnam 1955–75. On 2 July 1976, Saigon merged with the surrounding Gia Dinh Province and was officially renamed Ho Chi Minh City after revolutionary leader Ho Chi Minh.
