The earliest historical references to Minsk date to the 11C, when it was noted as a provincial city within the principality of Polotsk. Its attractions include Church of Saints Simon and Helena, Maksim Gorky Theather, National Opera and Ballet of Belarus, Island of Tears, and more.

Gomel is the administrative center of Gomel Voblast and the second-largest city in Belarus. Gomel was founded at the end of the 1st millennium AD on the lands of the Eastern Slavic tribal union of Radimichs. It lays on the banks of the Sozh river and the Gomeyuk stream. After the declaration of independence, Gomel became a city in the independent state of the Republic of Belarus. Its attractions include the Gomel Palace, St. Peter and Paul Cathedral, and Museum of Military Glory.

Mogilev is a city in eastern Belarus, about 76km from the border with Russia's Smolensk Oblast and 105km from the border with Russia's Bryansk Oblast. It is the administrative center of Mogilev Region and the third largest city in Belarus. The city is mentioned in historical sources since 1267. The town's most notable landmark is the late 17th-century town hall. Another important landmark of Mogilev is the six-pillared St. Stanislav's Cathedral.
