Bydgoszcz is a city located in northern Poland, on the Brda and Vistula rivers. With a city population of 363,926, and an urban agglomeration with more than 470,000 inhabitants, Bydgoszcz is the 8th-largest city in Poland. Bydgoszcz is part of the metroplex Bydgoszcz-Toruń, which totals over 850,000 inhabitants. It is the seat of several higher education establishments, and hosts the Filharmonia Pomorska concert hall, as well as the Opera Nova opera house. Its main sights are Church of St Martin and Nicolaus, The Church of Poor Clares, the Mill Island, the old Market Square, Saint Vincent de Paul's Basilica, the three granaries in Grodzka Street, and more.
