Kraljevo

Nestled between two mountains, this city boasts nice architectural variety, and offers easy access to several nearby monasteries.

Kraljevo is a city in Serbia, built beside the river Ibar, 7km west of its confluence with the Western Morava. The Serbian state named Raška was formed in the 11th century and the most active part of this state was in the area of today's Kraljevo. Its main attractions include the National Museum of Kraljevo, Holy Trinity Church, as well as the nearby Studenica and Zica monasteries.
