Örebro is a city, the seat of Örebro Municipality and the capital of Örebro County in Sweden. It is the sixth biggest city in Sweden and one of the largest inland hubs of the country. Örebro's old town, Wadköping, is located on the banks of the Svartån (black stream). It contains many 18th and 19th century wooden houses, along with museums and exhibitions. The water tower of Örebro, named Svampen (The Mushroom), is a popular destination as an outlook tower. The natural center of the city is the magnificent Örebro Castle, situated on an islet in the Svartån, and dividing the town into a northern and a southern part.

Eskilstuna is a city and the seat of Eskilstuna Municipality. The town is located on the River Eskilstunaån, which connects Lake Hjälmaren and Lake Mälaren. Eskilstuna's history dates back to medieval times when English monk Saint Eskil made "Tuna" his base and diocese of the South coast of Lake Mälaren. Landmarks in town include the royal castle of Eskilstuna House, Klosters church of Eskilstuna and the village of Rademachersmedjorna.

Vasteras is a city in central Sweden, located on the shore of Lake Malaren in the province Vastmanland. The city has the largest lakeside commercial and recreational port in Scandinavia on Lake Malaren. Vasteras is home to Sweden's biggest mall - the Erikslund Shopping Center, located on the outskirts of Vasteras. A local attraction is Vasteras Flight museum, which has four real flight simulators open to the public upon coordination in advance. The grave of controversial and tragic King Eric XIV is shown in the city's cathedral.

Nykoping is a locality and the seat of Nykoping Municipality, Sodermanland County, Sweden. The city is also the capital of Sodermanland County. A small river named Nykopingsan runs through the city centre, dividing the city into a natural eastern and western part. East of the city centre there is a nature and coastal area called Tjuvholmen that is part of the locality with many holiday homes. The locality of Arno located just a couple of kilometres from the city centre is referred to as a part of the city proper.
