Rheinfelden is a municipality in the canton of Aargau in Switzerland. It is home to Feldschlösschen, the most popular beer in Switzerland. There are 7 sites that are listed as Swiss heritage sites of national significance including the Christian Catholic collegiate church of St. Martin, the Johanniter Chapel, 3 fortifications; the Heimenholz and the Pferrichgraben which were both part of the old Roman era Rhine fortifications and the entire medieval city wall, the Feldschlösschen brewery and the former Gasthof (combination hotel and restaurant). The entire old town of Rheinfelden is designated as part of the Inventory of Swiss Heritage Sites.
