Kamphaeng Phet is a town in central Thailand, former capital of the Kamphaeng Phet Province. It covers the complete tambon Nai Mueang of the Mueang Kamphaeng Phet district. As of 2005 it has a population of 30,114. When visiting, make sure to see the Kamphaeng Phet Historical park, the national museums, and the town's temples.

Located in a historically significant area, this city is surrounded with ruins of ancient cities, as well as several national parks.
