As a medieval market town, Wells remains peaceful but has grown into a lively, proud city with a fabulous cathedral.

Wells is a cathedral city and civil parish in the Mendip district of Somerset, England, on the southern edge of the Mendip Hills. Wells and Mendip Museum includes many historical artifacts from the city and surrounding Mendip Hills. Milton Lodge is a house overlooking the city. Entrances include the Penniless Porch The Bishop's Eye and Brown's Gatehouse which were all built around 1450.
