Vanadzor is the third-largest city in Armenia and the capital of the Lori Province in the northern part of the country. It is located around 128 kilometres (80 miles) north of the capital Yerevan. As of the 2011 census, the city had a population of 86,199, down from 148,876 reported at the 1979 official census. The city is in a picturesque setting, with an attractive planned town centre. Vanadzor has several archaeological sites including the nearby Mashtots hill which is home to many remains from the 4th millennium BC. The Lori-Pambak archaeological museum opened in 1938 is dedicated to the history and ethnography of Gugark region. It currently has a collection of around 34,000 pieces.

Everything went very well. I was most impressed. Your route suggestions were excellent. As I had no idea what I was doing and what to expect, as I was going to Croatia for the first time, you guided me perfectly and spot on. One hotel that I had booked was a let down, but I booked a room in a random hotel, and all the other hotels were really nice and I was completely satisfied. I found the process really easy. Simple layout and lots of options. It was helpful to see the route, allowing me to choose towns better ensuring that the journey would not take us out of our way. Four of our hotels where within easy walking distance of the city center. The hotels were very easy to find with the use of your paperwork and a sat nav. All in all it was a fantastic holiday visiting five countries in ten days. Five different cultures and five different experiences. I am happy to recommend all the hotels we stayed in.
