Mogilev is a city in eastern Belarus, about 76km from the border with Russia's Smolensk Oblast and 105km from the border with Russia's Bryansk Oblast. It is the administrative center of Mogilev Region and the third largest city in Belarus. The city is mentioned in historical sources since 1267. The town's most notable landmark is the late 17th-century town hall. Another important landmark of Mogilev is the six-pillared St. Stanislav's Cathedral.
