    Prague has been an important cultural and economic center since the reign of Charles IV in the 14th century.     Liberec is a city in the Czech Republic. Located on the Lusatian Neisse and surrounded by the Jizera Mountains and Jested-Kozakov Ridge, it is the fifth-largest city in the Czech Republic. Liberec's prominent buildings are the Town Hall, the Liberec Castle and the Jested Tower. Other points of interest in town include the Botanical Gardena, the Liberec zoo and the Centrum Babylon Liberec that include a large water park, an amusement park, a casino, shopping court and hotel.

    Kutna Hora and the neighboring town of Sedlec are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Among the most important buildings in the area are the Gothic, five-naved St. Barbara's Church, begun in 1388, and the Italian Court, formerly a royal residence and mint, which was built at the end of the 13th century. The Gothic Stone Haus, which since 1902 has served as a museum, contains one of the richest archives in the country. The Gothic St. James's Church, with its 86 metre tower, is another prominent building. Sedlec is the site of the Gothic Cathedral of Our Lady and the famous Ossuary.

  • Melnik

    The Melnik castle belongs to the most important sights of this town. The castle is built in the Renaissance style. Below the castle there are large wine cellars. Confiscated by the communists, it has been restored to its traditional owners, the princes of Lobkowicz. The 10C St. Peter and St. Paul's Church faces the Melnik castle. The church is used primarily for religious functions, but everyone is able to look inside at the interior. Behind the church there is the building of the old school. There is a restaurant here today with a beautiful view of the river and Horin park. Near the castle there is the Villa Carola where the town library is located.

    Mlada Boleslav a city in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic, on the left bank of the Jizera river about 50 kilometres northeast of Prague. In the 19th century the town became an important regional centre as new schools, theatres, museums, and the Laurin & Klement (today Skoda) automobile factory were founded. Since the 1990s the factory is making it one of the richest Czech towns. Local sights include the Skoda Museum, Brethren renaissance cathedral, Regional Museum and Templ Municipal History Museum.
