    Pori is a city on the west coast of Finland. It is widely known for its international jazz music festival. The nine-day festival is held annually in July and is one of the major jazz festivals in Europe as well as one of the largest culture events in Finland. Yyteri Beach is located 17 kilometres out of the city center. The six-kilometre-long beach is one of the largest in the Baltic Sea. The beach houses a hotel/spa, camping/caravan park and a golf course.

  • River Rauma

    Rauma is a town on the west coast of Finland. It is known for its old wooden architecture of its centre (Old Rauma, Vanha Rauma), which is a Unesco world heritage site. The wooden city centre, which is how large the town was until 1809, has approximately 600 wooden buildings built in the neo-renaissance style. Rauma is also known for the high quality lace industry, and an annual Lace Week has been arranged in Rauma since 1971. During this week local craftspeople arrange small exhibitions in the Old Rauma area.
