Warsaw is the capital and largest city of Poland and is the 9th most populous capital city in the European Union. It is located on the Vistula River, in east-central Poland. In 2012, Warsaw was ranked as the 32nd most livable city in the world by the Economist Intelligence Unit. It was also ranked as one of the most livable cities in Central and Eastern Europe. Today Warsaw is considered an Alpha – global city, a major international tourist destination and a significant cultural, political and economic hub. Its main attractions include the Old Town quarter, the Royal Castle, Market Square, the Barbican, multiple castles and palaces, as well as landmarks of Jewish heritage.

The capital of Poland is also its largest city, functioning as an important political, cultural, and financial center.

Krakow has 28 museums and public art galleries. Among them are the main branch of Poland's National Museum and the Czartoryski Museum, the latter featuring works by Leonardo da Vinci and Rembrandt.

A metropolis of cultural significance, Krakow preserves a multitude of historic and religious remnants dating all the way to the 7C.

Piran is a town in southwestern Slovenia on the Gulf of Piran on the Adriatic Sea. The town has much medieval architecture, with narrow streets and compact houses. In the middle of the town is the Tartini Square, with a monument in memory of Giuseppe Tartini. Located nearby are Tartini’s house, the Municipal Palace, Loggia and Benečanka. On the hill above the town is the Church of Saint George, with a Franciscan monastery nearby. Musical Evenings of Piran, takes place each October 15 in Greyfriars Franciscan monastery's atrium, celebrates the foundation of the first Slovenian partisan naval detachment.

Situated on a steep peninsula on the Gulf of Piran, this town features many well preserved Venetian buildings and great views.
