Sa Pa, or Sapa, is a frontier township and capital of Sa Pa District in Lao Cai Province in north-west Vietnam. It is one of the main market towns in the area, where several ethnic minority groups such as Hmong, Dao (Yao), Giay, Pho Lu, and Tay live. Before the 1990s, the town's economy was mainly based on small size agriculture. Tourist arrival between 1995 and 2003 grew from a total of 4,860 to 138,622. On average, 79% of the visitors are Vietnamese and 21% are foreigners. Certainly visit the local market before you head out to explore the terraced rice fields in the region.

George Town is the main shopping destination in northern Malaysia due to its fast development with many new skyscrapers. While many new landmarks have started to dominate the city, many centuries-old shops are still operating alongside flea markets.

Bedugul is a mountain lake resort area in Bali, Indonesia, located in the center-north region of the island near Lake Bratan on the road between Denpasar and Singaraja. Bedugul enjoys a mild mountain weather due to its location at an altitude of about 1,500 metres (4,900 ft) above the sea level. Major sites in Bedugul are the Pura Ulun Danu Bratan water temple and the Eka Karya Botanic Garden. The Botanic Garden, opened in 1959. With a total area of 157.5 hectares (389 acres) is the largest in Indonesia.

Malang is the second largest city in East Java. The city is well known for its mild climate. People in East Java sometimes call it "Paris of East Java. Ubud is a town on the Indonesian island of Bali in Ubud District, located among rice paddies and steep ravines in the central foothills of the Gianyar regency. Panglao is a fourth income class municipality in the province of Bohol, Philippines. The primary tourist attraction of Panglao are its white sandy beaches, of which Alona Beach is the most famous and most developed. Alona Beach is about 1,500m long, lined with palm trees, resorts, and shops. Panglao is renowned for snorkeling and dive sites such as Doljo Beach, Garden Eels, Arco Point, Kalipayan, Napaling, and Puntod. The island's southern portion is ringed with reefs that are relatively narrow and shallow (5m to 6m) with submarine cliffs plunging to depths of 33m to 56m. Tours can readily be arranged to further dive sites, including Balicasag and Pamilacan islands.

Mission Beach is a small village along the Coral Sea in Queensland, Australia. Mission Beach is now a thriving tourist town that has been able to maintain its small town feel. One reason for this is that the town is spread out along a thin strip of land between the ocean and the hills and farmland behind. This has spread out a large tourism market, and the village doesn't feel as busy as one might expect. Surrounded by World Heritage rainforest on one side and the World Heritage listed Great Barrier Reef on the other, Mission Beach is home to many wildlife species, most notable is the cassowary.
