Forde is a municipality in the county of Sogn og Fjordane, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Sunnfjord. Other villages in Forde municipality include Bruland, Holsen, Moskog, and Haukedalen. The Oyrane area in the town of Forde is a large industrial/commercial area for the region.

Balestrand is a municipality in Sogn og Fjordane county, Norway, located on the northern shore of the Sognefjorden. A local landmark is Kvikne's Hotel, one of the most famous buildings in Balestrand. Today, the hotel is a highly modern facility. It is also one of Norway’s largest fine hotels, with an impressive collection of art and historical pieces a central feature of the hotel's interior. Other local attractions and events include Songnefjord Aquarium,St Olaf's Church, Balejazz summer jazz festival and Balestrand Art Village.

Stryn is a municipality in the county of Sogn og Fjordane, Norway, located in the traditional district of Nordfjord. The areas around Stryn have many natural attractions including the Briksdal glacier, Ramnefjellsfossen - the third highest free-falling waterfall in the world and Jostedal Glacier National Park. The village of Stryn is the local government and shopping centre for a large community and the junction of roads which connect inner Nordfjord with the rest of Norway. Stryn Sommerski is one of Norway's best known skiing facilities. It offers excellent skiing conditions in the summer.
