    Geilo is a center in the municipality of Hol in Norway, in the valley of Hallingdal. The Bergen Line facilitated Geilo's development as the first skiing resort in the country, and it is still one of the largest. It is also famous for having some of the most luxurious and expensive holiday cabins in Norway. Geilo is primarily a ski resort town, but also offers summer activities. Geilo is in a valley with mountain ranges on each side. The center of the town lies at 800 meters above sea level, and its highest point is 1178 meters above sea level. It is 250 km from Oslo and 260 km from Bergen.

    Mandal is a town in Vest-Agder county, Norway. Mandal is a very popular holiday resort, with its mild and refreshing summer climate. It is famous for its long-stretching beaches surrounding the town. Sjøsanden is the most famous beach, stretching for almost a kilometre just outside the town centre. The city center is known for its charming concentration of old, white wooden houses and the Mandal river running through it. Another attraction is the city's church, the largest wooden church in Norway.

    Kristiansand is a city and the county capital of Vest-Agder county in Southern Norway. It is a summer tourist destination, attracting many visitors in particular to its zoo. The Gravane canal, which separates the city centre from Odderøya is another popular summer attraction; it was refurbished in the 1990s and now has wood-fronted buildings housing restaurants and shops including a fish market. The town is home to many festivals including the Dark Season Festival in October, Southern Discomfort, the Bragdøya Blues Festival and the International Children Film Festival in April.

    Arendal is a town and municipality in the county of Aust-Agder, Norway. Arendal belongs to the traditional region of Sorlandet. In the middle of the town centre is an area with wooden houses dating back to the 17th century. This area is called Tyholmen, and is what is left of buildings from before the 19th century. The inner harbour of Arendal is Pollen, where the fish market, pubs, and restaurants are located. Additional points of interest include The lighthouse Store Torungen - located on an island outside Arendal, the Trinity Church in the town's center and The island of Merdo which- has a museum, a kiosk, and several beaches.

    Risor is a city and municipality in Aust-Agder county, Norway. The city belongs to the traditional region of Sorlandet. It is a popular tourist place. The surrounding area includes many small lakes and hills, and is known for its beautiful coastline as well. Risor is famous for its tourist attractions such as the wooden boat festival which is staged during the first week of August every year. It also has a growing reputation as the regional capital of arts and crafts, which culminates in the "Villvin-festival" during the summer holiday.
