Jönköping is a city in southern Sweden situated by the southern end of Sweden's second largest lake, Vättern. A major fair and exhibition center, Elmia, is in Jönköping, with fairs including Elmia Wood, the world’s largest forestry fair. Elmia’s fairs are the biggest of their kind in Europe for subcontractors, trucks, caravans and railways.

Växjö is a city in Kronoberg County, Sweden. It is the administrative, cultural and industrial centre of Kronoberg County. Immediately north of Växjö is Kronoberg Castle, a ruined fortress constructed in the 15th century. further north is lake Helgasjön. The city also holds another castle, Teleborg Castle, which now functions as a hotel and conference facility.

Kalmar is a city in Småland in the south-east of Sweden, on the coast of the Baltic Sea. From the thirteenth to the seventeenth centuries, Kalmar was one of Sweden's most important cities. The Kalmar Cathedral from 1702 is still a fine example of classicistic architecture. Designed by Nicodemus Tessin the Elder, the Cathedral is one of the foremost examples of barock klassicismens breakthrough in Sweden.
