    Amasra is a small Black Sea port town in the Bartin Province, Turkey. The town is today much appreciated for its beaches and natural setting, which has made tourism the most important activity for its inhabitants. Amasra has two islands: the bigger one is called Buyuk ada (Great Island) while the smaller one is called Tavsan adasi (Rabbit Island). With its architectural heritage, Amasra is a member of the Norwich-based European Association of Historic Towns and Regions. There is a fine medium-sized archaeological museum by the sea with remains from both land and underwater. Other attractions include Amasra Castle, Church Mosque, and the Bird's Rock Road Monument.

    Camlihemsin is a small town and district of Rize Province in the Black Sea region of Turkey. With its mountains and valleys in all shades of green Camlihemsin has a reputation as one of the most attractive parts of the eastern Black Sea region, particularly with the autumn foliage. Camlihemsin has a number of places for hiking and escaping into the countryside, including the mineral baths of the Ayder village; the Firtina Valley, which runs through the heart of Camlihemsin, and is spanned by the Ottoman-era Firtina River bridges; Kale-i Bala - the castle high on a rock; and Zilkale, another castle, this one from the medieval era.

    Samsun is a city on the north coast of Turkey. It is the provincial capital of Samsun Province and a major Black Sea port. Paleolithic artifacts found in the Tekkekoy Caves can be seen in Samsun Archaeology Museum. Its main attractions include the lovely beach, Dogu Park, an aquapark, Pazar Mosque, Museum of Archaeology and Ethnography, Bati Park, and the Bandirma Vapuru Museum.

    Inebolu is a town and district of the Kastamonu Province in the Black Sea region of Turkey. It is a typical Black Sea port town with many fine examples of traditional domestic architecture, and thus its center serves as one of the main attractions. Similarly, remnants of the city's fortifications throughout the century may attract some interest, as well as several nearby archaeological sites.

    Sinop is a city on the isthmus of Ince Burun, near Cape Sinope, which is situated on the most northern edge of the Turkish side of the Black Sea coast, in the ancient region of Paphlagonia, in modern-day northern Turkey. The city serves as the capital of Sinop Province. Among its attractions one may find the Sinop Fortress Prison, the Balatlar Church, Inceburun Lighthouse, Ethnography Museum Arslan Torun Mansion, and more.

    Golkoy is a town and district of Ordu Province in the Black Sea region of Turkey. The town is located 60km inland from the city of Ordu on the road to Sivas. According to the 2000 census, population of the district is 66,491 of which 24,162 live in the town of Golkoy. The district covers an area of square 415km, and the town lies at an elevation of 1,054m. Places of interest include the Byzantine castle of Habsamana, and a number of places of natural beauty for walking and climbing including the village of Cihadiye and the lake of Ulugol.
