Lovech is a city in north-central Bulgaria. It is the administrative center of the Lovech Province and of the subordinate Lovech Municipality. Lovech is situated in the Forebalkan area of northern Bulgaria, on both sides of the river Osam, and unifies both mountainous and plain relief. The eastern part of the town is surrounded by a 250 m high plateau, where the largest park in Lovech, Stratesh, is located. There, in the highest place in the town, there are a great number of famous lilac bushes. The town is famous for the Hisarya Fortress, as well as its picturesque surrounding.

Vidin is a port town on the southern bank of the Danube in north-western Bulgaria. It is close to the borders with Romania and Serbia, and is the regional administrative center, as well as an agricultural and trade center. Zagreb is a city with a rich history dating from the Roman times to the present day. The oldest settlement in the urban area of the city is Andautonia, a Roman settlement in the place of today's Ščitarjevo.
