    Gaziantep is the sixth most populous city in Turkey. It has a richly varied culture scene with many museums, mosques, and parks. Its main attractions include Zeugma Mosaic Museum, Coppersmith Bazaar, Gaziantep Zoo, Gaziantep Museum of Archaeology, Gaziantep Castle, Gaziantep Botanical Park, Boyaci Mosque, and much more.

  • Old town,  Mardin, Turkey

    Mardin is a city in southeastern Turkey. The capital of Mardin Province, it is known for the Artuqid architecture of its old city, and for its strategic location on a rocky hill near the Tigris River that rises steeply over the flat plains. Mardin has often been considered an open-air museum due to its historical architecture. Most buildings use the beige colored limestone rock which has been mined for centuries in quarries around the area. The whole city has been listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site under the "Mardin Cultural Landscape". Some of its most notable landmarks include Kasimiye Medresesi, Great Mosque, Sabanci City Museum, Church of Forties, and Mardin Castle.

  • Diyarbakir

    Diyarbakir is one of the largest cities in southeastern Turkey. Situated on the banks of the Tigris River, it is the administrative capital of the Diyarbakir Province and the second largest city in Turkey's southeastern Anatolia region. Diyarbakir is surrounded by an almost intact, dramatic set of high walls of black basalt forming a 5.5km circle around the old city. There are four gates into the old city and 82 watch-towers on the walls. Diyarbakir boasts numerous medieval mosques, and other landmarks, including the Grand Mosque, Iskender Pasa Mosque, Hazreti Suleyman Mosque, St. Giragos Armenian Church, and the Goat Tower.

  • Midyat

    Midyat is a town in Mardin Province of Turkey. The ancient city is the center of a centuries-old Hurrian town in Southeast Turkey, widely familiar under its Syrian name Tur Abdin. Midyat is the regional center of commerce.The City makes handicrafts such as carpets, towels and other cloth goods. More specific to the city is its silver crafts called telkari, which are handcrafted filigreed ornaments. Another staple in the Midyat market is its bulgur, which is a cereal food derived from wheat.Tourism in Midyat, however dwarfed compared to in Mardin, is an important part of the economy as well.

  • Sanliurfa

    Sanlıurfa, often simply known as Urfa in daily language, is a city in southeastern Turkey, and the capital of Sanlıurfa Province. It is a city with a primarily Arab, Kurdish and Turkmen population. The history of Sanlıurfa is recorded from the 4th century BC, but may date back at least to 9000 BC, when there is ample evidence for the surrounding sites at Duru, Harran and Nevali Cori. Chief points of interests in the city are Sanliurfa Castle, the Pool of Sacred Fish, Rizvaniye Mosque, the Sanliurfa Bazaar, Sanliurfa Museum, and the Cave of Abraham, where he was purportedly born.
