  • Sevastopol Bay

    Sevastopol is a city located in the southwestern region of the Crimean Peninsula on the Black Sea. As a result of the annexation of Crimea by Russia, the city is currently a subject of territorial dispute between Ukraine and Russia. The city enjoys mild winters and moderate warm summers; characteristics that help make it a popular seaside resort and tourist destination, mainly for visitors from the former Soviet republics. The city is also an important center for marine biology; in particular, dolphins have been studied and trained in the city since the end of World War II. Main attractions include Panorama Museum on the Siege of Sevastopol, a Dolphinarium, St. Vladimir's Cathedral, and more.

  • Yalta

    The City of Yalta is a resort city on the South coast of the Crimean Peninsula surrounded by the Black Sea. It serves as the administrative center of Yalta Municipality, one of the regions within Crimea. The city is located on the site of an ancient Greek colony, said to have been founded by the Greek conquerors who were looking for a safe shore on which to land. It is situated on a deep bay facing south towards the Black Sea, surrounded by the mountain range Ai-Petri. It has a warm humid subtropical climate and surrounded by numerous vineyards and orchards. Its main attractions include the beach, Yalta Zoo, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, White Dacha, Livadia Palace, and more.

  • Sudak 8

    Sudak is a town, multiple former bishopric and Latin Catholic titular see of regional significance in Crimea. A city of antiquity, today it is a popular resort, best known for its Genoese fortress, the best preserved on the northern shore of the Black Sea. Be sure to visit the water park when you're in the area.

    Alushta is a city of regional significance on the southern coast of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea in Ukraine claimed by Russia as the Republic of Crimea. It serves as the administrative center of Alushta Municipality, one of the regions Crimea is divided into. The area is notable for its arid, rocky terrain due to its proximity to Crimean mountains. During Byzantine times the town was called Alouston meaning "Unwashed". Vestiges survive of a Byzantine defensive tower from a fortress of which the city name has derived, as well as a 15th-century Genoese fortress. Other notable sights are the beach and the aquarium.

  • Feodosiya

    Feodosia is a port and resort, a town of regional significance in Crimea on the Black Sea coast. Feodosia serves as the administrative center of Feodosia Municipality, one of the regions into which Crimea is divided. Modern Feodosia is a resort city with beaches, mineral springs, and mud baths, sanatoria, and rest homes. Apart from tourism, its economy rests on agriculture and fisheries, local industries include fishing, brewing and canning. Its main attractions include Aivazovsky National Art Gallery, Feodosia Money Museum, Tower of Constantine, beach, and more.

    Simferopol is a city on the Crimean peninsula. As the capital of Crimea, Simferopol is an important political, economic, and transport hub of the peninsula. Simferopol serves as the administrative center of Simferopol municipality. Archaeological evidence in Simferopol indicates the existence of an ancient Scythian city, collectively known as the Scythian Neapolis. The location was also home to a Crimean Tatar town, Aqmescit. After the annexation of the Crimean Khanate to the Russian Empire, the city's name was changed to its present Simferopol. Its points of interest include Taurida Central Museum, and more.

    Yevpatoria is a city of regional significance in Crimea, serving as the administrative center of Yevpatoria municipality. Its attractions include the Karaite Kenesa, Juma-Jami Mosque, Cathedral of St. Nicholas, and a beach.

  • Koktebel

    Koktebel is an urban-type settlement and one of the most popular resort townlets in South-Eastern Crimea. Koktebel is situated on the shore of the Black Sea. Koktebel was known as a vacation spot for writers in the Soviet Union. It is also famous for its brandy, its hang-gliding and its naturist beach, largest in the former USSR. Nowadays, Koktebel fills up in the summer with tourists from Russia and Ukraine. The beachside walkway is lined with small restaurants, cafes, kiosks, and small market areas selling arts and crafts, dried fish, or slices of home-baked cake. Attractions include the Voloshin Museum, Koktebel Waterpark, and more.

  • Kerch 21

    Kerch is a city of regional significance on the Kerch Peninsula in the east of the Crimea. Founded 2,600 years ago as an ancient Greek colony, Kerch is considered to be one of the most ancient cities in Crimea. Today, it is one of the largest cities in Crimea and is among the republic's most important industrial, transport and tourist centers. Because of its location on shores of Azov and Black seas, Kerch became a popular summer resort among people of former USSR. Also, several mud-cure sources are located near the city. Kerch has a number of impressive architectural and historical monuments. Ancient historical heritage of the city makes it attractive for scientific tourism.

  • Bahchisaray Chasovnya

    Bakhchysarai is a city in central Crimea, a territory recognized by a majority of countries as part of Ukraine and incorporated by Russia as the Republic of Crimea. It is the administrative center of the Bakhchysarai Raion (district), as well as the former capital of the Crimean Khanate. Its main landmark is Hansaray, the only extant palace of the Crimean Khans, currently opened to tourists as a museum. Also, be sure to visit the Bakhchisaray Cave Monastery.
