  • Town Centre

    Northampton is the county town of Northamptonshire in the East Midlands of England. It lies on the River Nene, about 67 miles north-west of London. Northampton's market square is one of Britain's largest and most historic which dates back to 1235. The market square is linked to Abington Street, a major shopping area of Northampton, and is fully pedestrianised. Billing Aquadrome leisure park is on the eastern outskirts with a caravan site, marina, funfair, bar, riverside restaurant and converted water mill with original workings. Popular annual events include Northampton Carnival, Delapre Beer Festival, the Dragonboat Race, the Umbrella Fair, Diwali celebrations and St Crispins Fair.

  • Nottingham

    Nottingham is a city in the ceremonial county of Nottinghamshire in the East Midlands of England. The town is known for its links to the legend of Robin Hood and for its lace-making, bicycle and tobacco industries. The geographical centre of Nottingham is at the Old Market Square, the largest city square in the UK. The square is dominated by the Council House with The Exchange Arcade on it's ground floor - an upmarket shopping centre containing high-end boutiques. Other sights around town include The Lace Market, Nottingham Castle and its grounds, St. Mary's Church and Ye Olde Trip To Jerusalem pub - a contender for the title of "England's Oldest Pub".

    Leicester a city in the East Midlands of England, and the county town of Leicestershire. The city lies on the River Soar and at the edge of the National Forest. Shopping centres in Leicester include the Haymarket Shopping Centre and Highcross Leicester, The Leicester Lanes area which has numerous designer and specialist shops and Leicester Market - the largest outdoor covered market in Europe selling a wide variety of goods. Every year during the summer the Leicester City Council hold cultural festivals in the market. The city is home to many landmarks. A few notable locations are: Leicester Abbey, The Guildhall, Leicester Castle, Jewry Wall and Church of St Margaret.

  • Lincoln, England

    Lincoln is a cathedral city and county town of Lincolnshire, England. Lincoln developed from the Roman town of Lindum Colonia, which developed from an Iron Age settlement. Lincoln's major landmarks are Lincoln Cathedral, a fine example of English Gothic architecture, and Lincoln Castle, an 11th-century Norman castle. The city is also home to the University of Lincoln and Bishop Grosseteste University.

    Derby is a city in the East Midlands region of England. It lies upon the banks of the River Derwent. As home to Lombe's Mill, the first factory in the world, Derby is considered a birthplace of the Industrial Revolution. Derby Gaol is based in the dungeons of the Derbyshire County Gaol which dates back to 1756. The Silk Mill stands at the southern end of the 24 km (15 mi) stretch of the River Derwent designated a World Heritage Site in 2001. Pickford's House Museum was built by architect Joseph Pickford in 1770. Derby Museum and Art Gallery shows paintings by Joseph Wright, as well as fine Royal Crown Derby porcelain, natural history, local regiments and archaeology.

  • Bakewell

    Bakewell is a small market town and civil parish in the Derbyshire Dales district of Derbyshire, England, well known for the local confection Bakewell Pudding. Landmarks in town include the Grade I listed All Saints Church and a memorial to Sir Godfrey de Foljambe. There are a number of annual events - The Peak District traditional "well dressing" in June, The Bakewell Agricultural Show, Bakewell Arts Festival and Peak Literary Festival. Monday is popular with visitors as the traditional market is held in the town on this day.

    Matlock is the county town of Derbyshire, England, situated at the south eastern edge of the Peak District. Hall Leys Park, a Victorian public park in the centre of Matlock, hosts regular Farmers Markets as well as brass bands and events such as the annual Matlock Victorian Christmas Weekend. A local shopping area is located in Smedley Street which has its own parade of shops. The village of Matlock Bath lies immediately south of the town has many attractions including the Heights of Abraham park, Gulliver's Kingdom theme park, the Peak District Mining Museum and an aquarium.
