  • Stratford-upon-Avon Waterside

    Stratford-upon-Avon is a market town and civil parish in south Warwickshire, England. It lies on the River Avon The town is a popular tourist destination owing to its status as birthplace of the playwright and poet William Shakespeare, The Royal Shakespeare Company resides in Stratford's Royal Shakespeare Theatre. Other tourist attractions within the town include five houses relating to Shakespeare's life, At the top end of Waterside is Holy Trinity Church, where Shakespeare was baptised and is buried. Other attractions include the Stratford Butterfly Farm, which is on the eastern side of the river and the Bancroft Gardens and Stratford Armouries.

    Coventry is a city in the county of West Midlands in England. St. Michael's Cathedral is Coventry's best-known landmark and visitor attraction. The 14th-century church was largely destroyed by German bombing during World War II, leaving only the outer walls and spire. At 303 feet (92 metres) high. The Herbert Art Gallery and Museum is one of the largest main cultural institutions in Coventry. Another major visitor attraction in Coventry city centre is the free-to-enter Coventry Transport Museum, which has the largest collection of British-made road vehicles in the world.

  • Ludlow Castle Square

    Ludlow is a market town in Shropshire, England. The oldest part is the medieval walled town, founded in the late 11th century, centred on a small hill which lies within a bend of the River Teme, on its eastern bank. Atop this hill is the site of Ludlow Castle and the parish church, St Laurence's, the largest in the county. The town is in a sheltered spot beneath Mortimer Forest and the Clee Hills, which are clearly visible from the town. Ludlow has nearly 500 listed buildings. They include some fine examples of medieval and Tudor-style half-timbered buildings including the Feathers Hotel. The town was described by Sir John Betjeman as "probably the loveliest town in England".

    Stoke-on-Trent, also called the Potteries, is a city in Staffordshire, England. It is a conurbation of the six town of Tunstall, Burslem, Hanley, Stoke, Fenton and Longton and the city centre is usually regarded as being in Hanley. Considered to be the home of the pottery industry in England, the town has several ceramics museum, including the Potteries Museum & Art Gallery and Wedgwood Museum. The Alton Towers Resort is 10 miles east of Stoke-on-Trent and is one of the United Kingdom's best known attractions. The Waterworld indoor swimming complex on Festival Park near Hanley is also a significant children's attraction.

  • Worcester

    The City of Worcester is a city and county town of Worcestershire in the West Midlands of England. The River Severn runs through the middle of the city, overlooked by the 12th-century Worcester Cathedral. Worcester was the home of Royal Worcester Porcelain. It houses the Lea & Perrins factory where the traditional Worcestershire Sauce is made. Probably the most famous landmark in Worcester is its imposing Worcester Cathedral. The current building, was begun in 1084 while its crypt dates from the 10th century. The chapter house is the only circular one in the country while the cathedral also has the distinction of having the tomb of King John. Limited parts of the city wall still remain.

    Wolverhampton is a city and metropolitan borough in the West Midlands, England. it is the 12th largest city in England outside London. The city is one of the major retail centres in the area and many department store chains including Beatties, Marks and Spencer, British Homes Stores and Next have stores in the centre of Wolverhampton. Local sights and landmarks in and near the town include Wightwick Manor, Moseley Old Hall, St. Peter's Collegiate Church and Molineux Hotel. The Royal Air Force Museum at RAF Cosford and the Black Country Living Museum in Dudley are close-by local attractions.

  • Warwick

    Warwick is the county town of Warwickshire, England. The town lies upon the River Avon. There has been human activity at Warwick as early as the Neolithic, and constant habitation since the 6th century. Warwick Castle was established on the site in 1068 as part of the Norman conquest of England. During the medieval period Warwick was given town walls; Eastgate and Westgate survive. The castle developed into a stone fortress and then a country house and is today a popular tourist attraction.

    Shrewsbury is the county town of Shropshire, in the West Midlands region of England. Lying on the River Severn. Shrewsbury is a historic market town with the town centre having a largely unaltered medieval street plan. The town features over 660 historic listed buildings, including several examples of timber framing from the 15th and 16th centuries. Shrewsbury Castle, a red sandstone castle fortification, and Shrewsbury Abbey, a former Benedictine monastery, were founded in 1074 and 1083 respectively, by the Norman Earl of Shrewsbury, Roger de Montgomery. The town hosts one of the oldest and largest horticultural events in the country, the Shrewsbury Flower Show.

    Broadway is a village and civil parish in the Worcestershire part of the Cotswolds in England. Often referred to as the "Jewel of the Cotswolds", Broadway village lies beneath Fish Hill on the western Cotswold escarpment. The "broad way" is the wide grass-fringed main street, centred on The Green, which is lined with red chestnut trees and honey-coloured Cotswold limestone buildings, many dating from the 16th century.

    Hereford is a cathedral city in the county town of Herefordshire, England. The Old House in Hereford is an historic black and white house in the center of High Town in Hereford City.. The Hereford Museum and Art Gallery, housed in a Victorian Gothic building and opened in 1874, presents artifacts, fine art, and decorative art associated with the local area. The Hereford Cider Museum is located in the City, Hereford Cathedral dates from 1079 and contains the Mappa Mundi, a medieval map of the world dating from the 13th century which was restored in the late 20th century. It also contains the world famous Chained Library.

    Dudley is a large town in the West Midlands of England, 6 miles south-east of Wolverhampton and 8 miles north-west of Birmingham. North-west of the town centre lies the Wren's Nest Nature Reserve, considered to be one of the most notable geological locations in the British Isles. Tourist attractions include Dudley Zoo, Dudley Castle, the Black Country Living Museum and the historic marketplace. Established in the 12th century, Dudley Market is situated on a wide part of the High Street, and is a major shopping area for the town.
