Helmsley

Helmsley is a market town and civil parish in the Ryedale district of North Yorkshire, on the River Rye, on the southern boundary of the North York Moors National Park. The park itself is a popular tourist attraction. Points of interest in town include the International Centre for Birds of Prey, Rievaulx Abbey and Helmsley Arts Centre.

Gateway to the North York Moors, Helmsley is steeped in history, with cottages, tea shops, and boutiques enhancing the town's appeal.
