The Taronga Zoo, located in the northern part of Sydney on the shores of the Sydney Harbour, is one of the most beautiful and well-known zoos in the world. The zoo is built on a mountainside in the suburb of Mosman with spectacular views of the Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House. The zoo is easily accessible via a 12-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay.
