    Aarhus is the second-largest city in Denmark. It is located on the east coast of the Jutland peninsula and is the cultural and economic core of the region. The city hosts many festivals, concerts and other events - NorthSide Festival, Aarhus International Jazz Festival and Danmarks grimmeste festival are some of the notable ones. The ARoS Art Museum, the Old Town Museum and Tivoli Friheden are among Denmark's top tourist attractions. Some additional landmarks include Aarhus Katedralskole, Aarhus Cathedral, Marselisborg Palace and the Tivoli Friheden amusement park.

  • Silkeborg

    Silkeborg is a Danish city Located near the Gudenå River in the middle of the Jutland peninsula. Silkeborg is located in region known as Søhøjlandet, the lake highland, and is located in a very hilly landscape surrounded by Denmark’s largest forest district and a great number of lakes. Points of interest in town include the Hjejlen tour boat - world’s oldest steamboat, The freshwater aquarium - Aqua, The lake fountains, Indelukket - the marina and recreation area, and Silkeborg Museum - where you can see the naturally mummified corpse of the Tollund man.

  • Ribe

    Ribe is the oldest extant Danish town, located in southwest Jutland. The town has many well-preserved old buildings and The Ribe Cathedral and old town hall are especially noteworthy. Among the cultural highlights are some notable museums: Ribe Viking Museum, Ribe Art Museum and Denmark's oldest province museum. Another attraction in town is The Night Watchman - Every evening from 1 May until 15 September you may accompany the night watchman in Ribe on his route through the old town, while he is singing to alert citizens about bedtime approaching. Mandø Island nature reserve is 30km from town.

  • Udsigt fra Vejle Vindmølle

    Vejle is a town in Denmark, in the southeast of the Jutland Peninsula, the head of Vejle Fjord, where the Vejle and Grejs Rivers and their valleys converge. The city is most known for its forested hills, fjord, harbour, shopping, pedestrian mall, and iconic windmill. Vejle is known regionally as a vibrant shopping town with a wide and varied offering of both chain and specialty shops, primarily located along the city's central pedestrian mall with Two shopping centres, Bryggen and Mary's also available.

  • Ebeltoft

    Ebeltoft is a town on the central east coast of Denmark. The town is as one of the tourist centres of Denmark, due to the natural beauty of the area, its old town center with cobble-stoned streets and centuries-old half-timbered houses, and - not least - many beaches. The town also hosts many artisans such as glass workers, potters, painters, and jewelry designers.

    Esbjerg is a seaport town on the west coast of the Jutland peninsula in southwest Denmark. The town has several notable museums and entertainment venues, including Esbjerg Art Museum, Esbjerg Museum and the privately owned Fisheries and Maritime Museum which has a saltwater aquarium and a sealarium as well as indoor and outdoor exhibitions. Other landmarks in town include the Esbjerg Water Tower, the Man Meets the Sea monument and The Courthouse on the main square.

    Kolding is a seaport town located at the head of Kolding Fjord in Southern Denmark. Located in Kolding is the former royal castle of Koldinghus. This was built in the 13th century by King Eric Klipping and is now a museum. Other notable sites are the 13th century stone Church of Saint Nicholas - which is one of the oldest in Denmark, Trapholt art museum and the gardens Geografisk Have.

  • Horsens Scenary

    Horsens is a Danish city in east Jutland, at the end of Horsens Fjord. The city hosts one of the largest cultural events in Denmark is the annual European Medieval Festival on the last Friday and Saturday in August. The town centre of Horsens is transformed into the largest medieval market town in Northern Europe with activities and entertainment for families and children of all ages. Horsens also has its very own music and art festival, Stoneass Festival

  • Am Hafen von Ringkobing

    Ringkøbing is a town on the west coast of the Jutland peninsula, Denmark. The centre of Ringkøbing has some quaint old streets, most of which lead towards the water of the fjord.

  • Tønder

    Tønder is a town in Southern Denmark. The town center is dominated by houses from the late 17th and early 18th century. During World War I, a zeppelin base was operated out of Tønder and a wartime aircraft hangar survives, as do some of the ancillary buildings and the foundations of the large airship hangars. The site now houses a museum, named the Zeppelin and Garrison Museum Tønder. Every August, the Tønder Festival offers visitors a wide variety of traditional and modern folk music.

  • Haderslev

    Haderslev is a town in Southern Denmark. The trademark of Haderslev is unquestionably Haderslev Cathedral, dating back to the 13th century. Due to a renovation of the town's oldest houses Haderslev offers a unique collection of houses and buildings from 1400 to the beginning of 20th century, and the town center's cobbled streets and alleys is very suitable for town strolling. In the summer Kløften Festival, a three-day annual festival is held in the public "Kløften" park.

  • Haderslev

    Jelling is a village in Southern Denmark. The town is mainly famous for the Jelling stones - massive carved runestones from the 10th century that are a national monument. Jelling is also the site of a large stone ship and two large burial mounds - all are an UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Jelling Music Festival is held annually and is currently Denmark's third largest festival.
