Kolding is a seaport town located at the head of Kolding Fjord in Southern Denmark. Located in Kolding is the former royal castle of Koldinghus. This was built in the 13th century by King Eric Klipping and is now a museum. Other notable sites are the 13th century stone Church of Saint Nicholas - which is one of the oldest in Denmark, Trapholt art museum and the gardens Geografisk Have.

With a lovely medieval atmosphere, the town's streets are lined with great eateries, rich museums, and historic landmarks.
