  • St Malo

    Saint-Malo is a walled port city in Brittany in northwestern France on the English Channel. Today it is a major tourist destination, with many ancient, attractive building. Now inseparably attached to the mainland, Saint-Malo is the most visited place in Brittany. Sites of interest include: The walled city (La Ville Intra-Muros); The chateau of Saint-Malo, part of which is now the town museum; The Solidor Tower in Saint-Servan is a 14th-century building that holds a collection tracing the history of voyages around Cape Horn; And more.

  • River boat trip - Dinan

    Dinan is a walled Breton town and a commune in northwestern France. Its geographical setting is exceptional. Instead of nestling on the valley floor like Morlaix, most urban development has been on the hillside, overlooking the river Rance. The medieval town on the hilltop has many fine old buildings, some of which date from the 13th century. The town retains a large section of the city walls, part of which can be walked round. Major historical attractions include the Jacobins Theater dating from 1224, the flamboyant Gothic St Malo's Church, the Romanesque St Saviour's Basilica, Duchess Anne's Tower and the Chateau de Dinan.

  • Concarneau

    Concarneau is a commune in Brittany in north-western France. The town has two distinct areas: the modern town on the mainland and the medieval Ville Close, a walled town on a long island in the center of the harbor. Historically, the old town was a center of shipbuilding. The Ville Close is now devoted to tourism with many restaurants and shops aimed at tourists. Also in the Ville Close is the fishing museum. The Ville Close is connected to the town by a drawbridge and at the other end a ferry to the village of Lanriec on the other side of the harbor.

    Quimper is a commune in Brittany in northwestern France. The town is on the confluence of the rivers Le Steir and L'Odet. Shops and flags celebrating the region's Celtic heritage can be found throughout the city. The town's best known product is Quimper faience pottery. It has been made here since 1690.

    Vannes is a commune in Brittany, north-western France. It was founded over 2000 years ago. Main sights in Vannes include : Cathedral of St Peter, Gothic cathedral; Church of St Patern, classic church; Chapel of Saint-Yves, baroque church; Chateau Gaillard (medieval house now used as an archaeological museum); Musee de la Cohue (fine arts museum); And more.

    Rennes is a city in the east of Brittany in northwestern France. Rennes is classified as a city of art and history. The historic center is located on the former plan of the ramparts. There is a difference between the northern city center and the southern city center due to the 1720 fire, which destroyed most of the timber framed houses in the northern part of the city. The rebuilding was done in stone, on a grid plan. Due to the presence of the parlement de Bretagne, many "hotels particuliers" were built in the northern part, the richest in the 18th century. Most of the monuments historiques can be found there.

    Dinard is a commune in the Ille-et-Vilaine department in Brittany in northwestern France. Dinard is on the Cםte d'Emeraude of Brittany. Its beaches and mild climate make it a popular holiday destination, and this has resulted in the town having a variety of famous visitors and residents. Dinard's reputation as the "Cannes of the North" has attracted a wide variety of stars. Dinard cannot boast much nightlife, but many bars and fine restaurants fill the town's streets. The abundance of beaches coupled with a consistently sunny weather, however, attracts many visitors during the summer holidays. The attractions include a casino with a restaurant facing the sea and a hall which hosts many expositions.

  • Carnac

    Carnac is a commune on the south coast of Brittany in north-western France. Carnac is renowned for the Carnac stones – one of the most extensive Neolithic menhir collections in the world – as well as its beaches, which are popular with tourists. Located on a narrow peninsula halfway between the medieval town Vannes and the seaside resort Quiberon, Carnac is split into two centers - Carnac-Ville and Carnac-Plage. In total there are five beaches, including la Grande Plage, and further to the east, Plage Men Du and Beaumer.

  • Pont-Aven

    Pont-Aven is a commune in the Finistere department of Brittany in northwestern France. Pont-Aven is mainly known due to a group of artists who flocked round Emile Bernard and Paul Gauguin, and who were joined in 1888 by Paul Serusier. They were collectively known as "Pont-Aven School".

    Brest is a city in Brittany in northwestern France. Located in a sheltered position not far from the western tip of the Breton peninsula, and the western extremity of metropolitan France, Brest is an important harbor and the second French military port after Toulon. During the Middle Ages, the history of Brest was the history of its castle. Then Richelieu made it a military harbor. Brest grew around its arsenal, until the second part of the 20C. The city center was completely rebuilt after the war. Nowadays, Brest is an important university town.

  • Château de Vitré

    Vitre is a commune in Brittany, northwestern France. The town has been designated a ville d'art et d'histoire, a town of artistic and historic significance, by the Ministry of Culture in recognition of its rich cultural inheritance. The heritage of the town of Vitre is a tremendous wealth. This is one of the cities of Brittany that has best preserved its original appearance with its houses with porch or timber-framed (the third city after of Rennes and Vannes in Brittany), its ramparts, its religious heritage, old streets, etc. Vitre is a perfect example of a town of 500 years ago.
